Rustic Cookie Mix
Made with our unique blend of freshly ground Spelt, Kamut and Oats, these cookies have a nice chew with a subtle snappy crunch that makes a unique wholesome base for all kinds of popular cookie recipes—from chocolate chip and peanut butter to sandies, bars and more. Super fast and easy to make, and they'll keep nicely in the cookie jar for at least a week and in the freezer for 6 or 8 weeks. Delicious, satisfying and truly wholesome cookies you can feel good about serving.
INGREDIENTS: Whole fresh stone-ground organic spelt, Kamut and oat kernels; organic dried cane juices; baking soda, sea salt.
Our mixes are made in our own dedicated workshop free of nuts, peanuts, dairy and animal products.
BASIC PREP: preheat oven to 350˚F • in a mixing bowl, beat 2 eggs • add ½ cup (one stick) melted butter, 2 tbsp olive oil, 1 tsp vanilla; whisk smooth • stir in chocolate chips or other extras if desired; gently mix in package contents to form firm dough • scoop out twelve to a cookie sheet, flatten each one with hand, fork or glass bottom • bake 14-18 min then cool • Makes 24-36 cookies • Baking Tips • Recipes
