Organic Oat Scone Mix

A rustic and satisfying oat scone. Rich, dense and bursting with comfort. Serve them warm and fresh with butter or jam, and eat like it’s 1869! Our mixes are made in our own dedicated workshop free of nuts, peanuts, dairy and animal products.

INGREDIENTS: fresh whole ground spelt and oat kernels; dried cane juice; baking powder; sea salt .  NUT/PEANUT FREE.   certified organic by Pro-cert 

BASIC PREP: preheat to 425 degrees F. In small bowl ; whisk together 1 egg with 1/2 cup heavy cream and 2 Tbsp milk , coarsely grate1 stick VERY COLD butter (1/4 lb). In large bowl ,use fork to mix package contents  with cold butter. Gently fold in egg mixture, turn out to counter, pat into rectangle 1" thick; cut into triangles, Place on cookie sheet. Bake 13-18 min.  SERVE WARM
