Butterscotch Oatmeal
Chewy, creamy, sweet and dreamy.
INGREDIENTS
- 1 cup 1869 Oatmeal
- 2 ¼ cups milk (cow, soy or almond)
- pinch of salt
- 1 egg, beaten
- 2-4 tbsp brown sugar (4 is quite sweet)
- 1 tbsp butter
DIRECTIONS
- in a small saucepan over medium heat, whisk together the egg, milk and brown sugar
- mix in 1869 oats, bring to a soft boil then turn down the heat
- simmer until thick, about 12-15 minutes, stirring occasionally
- remove from heat, stir in butter until melted
