Chewy Oatmeal Raisin Cookies

Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. GRAINSTORM All Oatmeal Cookie Mix
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 cup raisins

 

Directions

  1. In a medium bowl, whip the butter, vanilla, and cinnamon until fluffy. Set aside.
  2. Put the eggs and raisins in a blender and blend until the raisins are finely chopped. 
  3. Add the butter mixture to the egg mixture and blend until nicely mixed together.
  4. Transfer everything back to the bowl. 
  5. Add package contents and stir together until you have a soft, moist dough. (Optional: Stir an additional 1/4 cup of whole raisins into the cookie dough.)
  6. Let the dough rest at room temperature for 15 minutes.
  7. Preheat oven to 350°F; line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  8. Scoop balls of cookie dough on to baking sheet. Do NOT press flat. 
  9. Bake for 12 - 15 minutes. 
  10. Let cookies sit & cool slightly before removing from the baking sheet. Enjoy!

 

Note: For a more crispy cookie increase the baking time, or vice versa; less baking time will result in a chewier cookie.
